Once again we will be taking part in the Artists Open House Trail in May as part of Brighton festival. We will open Saturdays and Sundays 12.00 - 6.00 for the 4 weekends in May so why not pop in and see us.

Fishy Friday

It's Fishy Friday but  unfortunately there is no new fish to post as I have broken my finger.. so I thought I would re post this image of the fish fingers I made a while ago. It seemed fitting considering my circumstances.. Have a great weekend!

The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier from Sidewalk to Catwalk at The Barbican

This week saw the opening of the new Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk at The Barbican which runs from 9th April -25th August at The Barbican Centre, Silk Street, London, EC2Y 8DS

I was thrilled to be asked by the Barbican to supply French inspired cards to tie in with this exhibition. I have always had a huge admiration for Mr JPG so I was delighted.


Artists Open House Trail 2014: 'Kate's Crochetquarium'

Every year I take part in the Artists Open Houses trail where my studio shop will be open four weekends in May. This year my studio will be filled with a vast array of crocheted art and knitted fashion and home ware. The studio shop will be open Saturdays and Sundays 12.00-6.00. We look forward to seeing you there!

'Kate's Crochetquarium'
Over the past year I have been working on a series of crocheted fish for a book called 'Fishy Friday' (as many of you who read this blog will have seen as I post a different fish each week.. every Friday) So... if you are planning to come and visit the studio shop expect to see lot sequined lovelies including this clown fish and lots of brand new pieces created especially for the Artists Open Houses trail 'Kate's Crochetquarium'.
